#3 Toaster

The third thing I would advise to get is a good old toaster. If you buy toast then you definitely need a toaster. It is almost a necessity but not quite because you can manage to heat toast up on a skillet. The only problem with that is its time consuming and toasters are one of those things meant to make life easier. Toasters are available in 2 and 4 slots. There is also the little toaster oven that can be so convenient for toasting or heating a slice of pizza. Almost every home has one of these and it usually has a special spot that it doesn't move from until it's broken. This is also one of those things that people don't pay too much attention to until it's gone.

Toasters are usually very affordable unless you are looking at the high end products. They all basically give the same results in making your bread crispy and crunchy. They also come in stainless steel or white to match any kitchen.

Just as a reminder, never place a kitchen glove or towel on top of a toaster while it is heating and make sure your it turns off when its supposed to. Never be negligent because toasters have been known to cause fires.

#2 Stove

Everyone wants to have a complete kitchen so that it would be easy to prepare food. There are several things that you need in the kitchen and there are other things they would be listed as a "want" and not a "need". After the refrigerator you need to have a stove. A kitchen is not a kitchen without the refrigerator or the stove. These two things are the only two things that essentially complete a kitchen. Once you have got your stove, everything else is considered accessories. You can finally have a nice hot home cooked meal. If you choose a stainless steel stove it would be a lot easier to clean and wipe off than other stove tops. You will appreciate the oven more than you have ever before. Having an oven is a luxury that most people don't really think about. The same goes for the fridge. Sure, you might say well just use a microwave but it’s not the same when you have burners with different sized flames to actually cook. It might be better for you to get the stove first and then the refrigerator if the weather is very cold. This is because you would need warm and hot liquids more than you would cold. It gets cold enough sometimes that leaving you can leave food out longer without spoiling.

Refridgerator - #1 Essential Kitchen Appliance

The first time you move into a new place that has no appliances the first thing you need to worry about is the kitchen. The basic necessities in the kitchen have to come first. When I first moved in to my new place I was able to get only one thing at a time. If it is summer then the first thing on your wish list should be a refrigerator. When it is hot, you need the fridge to have cold water and other beverages. You can also preserve food instead of leaving it out to spoil. You can live off of fruits, vegetables and sandwiches until you can afford to get a stove. If you really need to have boiling water for your daily dose of coffee or tea in the morning you can get an electric kettle. This plugs into an outlet on a kitchen counter and boils water in 1 minute. This will definitely be very helpful for a quick cup of tea. Other things that can help you while you save up for the oven is a microwave. Some can be very affordable and can help you have something hot to eat. With the refrigerator and the microwave you should have no problem finding good food to eat.
