There are hundreds of kitchen appliances you can get for your kitchen that can be useful and convenient. Technology and science is always coming out with different things that claim to make things convenient for you in the kitchen. From the hand mixer to the bread maker. Some of these things might prove to be useful but many of them are stored away and forgotten. You should always think about what you are purchasing and ask your self if you are really going to need this. The last thing you want to do is waste your money on something that you will only use once or twice.
It is always good to keep your kitchen basic. Have the main kitchen appliances and accessories and appliances and don't fall for the gadgets that say they'll do everything for you. Sure, it might be useful to a point but you will have added cleaning up to do. Most kitchen aids have hard to reach areas that get dirty. You will have to spend a lot more time cleaning, when you could have simply did your chopping in minutes.
Sometimes it is obvious when something would be useful from the first day. I usually don't look twice when I see an ad for something that is supposed to do my work for me.

#4 Dishwasher
When you are ready to make another large investment you can star shopping for a dishwasher. Although many homes manage without them they are very convenient, especially for large families and working parents. A dishwasher is not a necessity but does complete a kitchen. Dishwashers can consume more water than you would use if you wash the dishes by hand. They also require a special type of liquid soap that might cost more than ordinary dish soap. I guess manufacturers figure, if you can afford a dishwasher then you can afford to pay more for the soap. Dishwashers go through a few cycles before the completely finish and they do a good job cleaning. I don't own a dishwasher but I use it at my mom's house and the thing that I don't understand is, what's a dishwasher good for if you first have to scrub each dish before putting it in? I figure, you already did half the job. Anyway, it still is nice to have because it makes your kitchen look modern and can help out if you aren't in the mood do dishes. I don't discourage dishwashers, in fact if I had the money I would get one myself. I have a small family and only use a few dishes everyday so I would rather get other useful kitchen appliances.
